Focus on Leachate

There are few products that need to be stored with the variability in composition as landfill leachate. The regulatory requirement for secondary containment in most instances lends to the theory that leachate is a potentially harmful substance.

So when landfill operators needed a tank that could stand up to the challenges associated with storing leachate, they turned to CST storage and Aquastore glass-fused-to-steel tanks. These tanks and their glass enamel coating have proven to stand up to the test. Some of the original Aquastore leachate tanks are still in service with excellent inspection reports on the condition of the inside walls of the tank.
