Richard Weaver’s introduction of industry-changing reclaimer designs in 1962 has been evolving and improving ever since. Now as part of CST’s global portfolio of products and services, Weaver Reclaimers is backed by a dedicated engineering team using 3D CAD and analysis tools and CST’s world-wide field support team.

CST has been manufacturing Harvestore commercial unloaders since 1948. Now Weaver Reclaimers are manufactured in the same 500,000 ft2, ISO Certified industrial manufacturing facility. Weaver Reclaimers are available as standalone units or integrated with a CST silo or dome for a complete turnkey solution. Weaver Reclaimers can be constructed of steel or stainless steel and for use in bolted steel storage silos, welded steel storage silos and concrete storage silos.

All Electric Drive
All Weaver Reclaimers units are all electric drive. This eliminates the leaks and maintenance issues associated with hydraulic drive systems while providing superior control through viable frequency drives (VFDs). Units are programmable with electronic feedback loops. With electric drives the unit’s performance can be monitored precisely and adjustments can be made automatically on the fly before unloading issues become a major issue. Integration and service are greatly improved.
Commercially Available Parts
In addition to the upfront value of Weaver Reclaimers, the long term savings of customers being able to purchase many of the service and maintenance parts from either CST or other commercial sources results in substantial cost savings throughout the life of the unit. CST does not lure our customers in with low upfront pricing just to make up the revenue later on in proprietary maintenance and service parts sales.

No Free Flow Designs
While other manufacturers my boast about performance figures that include free flow of material, such material flow cannot be reliably predicted or controlled. Free flow may in fact become problematic in the overall, long term performance of the unit. Weaver can design reclaimers for materials with a narrow range of size to prevent free flow resulting in more dependable and reliable performance results.
Zero Entry Maintenance
Weaver Reclaimer designs have been made with the total operational costs of the unit in mind. As a result all of the maintenance parts and almost all the service parts are located on the unit so that they can be accessed from outside the silo. This design almost eliminates the need for costly dig outs of the material to perform unit maintenance and service.

Industrial Manufacturing Facility
Our success has been built on developing quality manufacturing processes that permit cost effective and efficient manufacturing of products to meet our customer’s storage and material handling needs. CST has been designing and building ISO Certified Harvestore commercial unloaders since 1948. This same manufacturing knowhow has been applied to Weaver’s new manufacturing process at CST’s 500,000 ft2 DeKalb, IL plant.
Dedicated Engineering Teams
One of the big advantages of CST now manufacturing Weaver Reclaimers is the associated ability of a larger company to dedicate resources specifically to each product line. Where sharing resources between engineering, manufacturing, installation and service is common among smaller companies, CST and its extensive 54- person engineering staff has a dedicated engineering team for Weaver Reclaimers.

Quality Project Management, Construction and Support
CST’s post-contract support teams ensure the smooth transition of an order from sales through engineering, manufacturing and installation. These dedicated, single point of contact Project Managers make information flow and issue resolution more effective and efficient. After manufacturing, CST can do everything from construction of the silo and installation of the reclaimer, to simply providing phone and on site assistance with the installation of the unit by others. CST does it all.
