The Conservatek Team is again in for excitement in Las Vegas, but this time with Value Rent-A-Car. The architect wanted to create an exciting shading system with the Omni*Hub System with its low profile membrane pyramids. The all aluminum Omni*Hub System provides the great durability needed for the desert environment and the tan colored vinyl on polyester membrane provides the shading required for the constant sun. The architect chose a mauve color for the spaceframe to match the color of the glass of the office and a tan color for the membrane to reflect the desert color. This 7,146 square foot spaceframe and membrane was assembled and lifted into place in one week by a small crew. The membrane pyramids are supplied with a cable on all 4 edges and a liner washer from the hub above on a cable – almost invisible to the eye.
